[It's your society.]

Congratulations to the class of 2010!

Today the current final year LLB students will be graduating from the University of Portsmouth after three years of hard work, and we would like to congratulate them on their academic achievements.

Many of these graduates will be continuing their legal education via the LPC or BPTC - we hope that you will stay in touch with the law society and continue to participate via our alumni events and via taking part in our new student mentoring program (tba).

For many the parchment they recieve today will be a ticket to the big bucks in a corporate law firm, but as a certain judge once said a law degree isn't just a ticket to success, it's your ticket to change the world.

Once again we would like to wish you all the best of luck with whatever it is you go on to do, and leave you with a quote from Mark Twain:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did.  So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover. "
